Soon-To-Be
Mr. and Mrs.
Six years later and we are getting married! Nick and I first met in elementary, but sparks finally flew in college. I was attending The University of Alabama where Nick would later transfer following his baseball career at Calhoun Community College. We started dating our Sophomore year, and a handful of years and hundreds of memories later, he made me his fiancé. Let's take a trip down memory lane!
A Bit About Us
Nick and I share many interests together. Growing up, we both put years of our life into Baseball and Softball. This molded us into competitors at heart, which makes family game night a little intense! We are also both gaming nerds, and love spending nights in cozying up to videogames with friends in Discord. When we aren't gaming or watching sports, we like checking out local breweries, building campfires, or trying out recipes we've seen online and making a mess in the kitchen. I especially love that Nick is a fellow creative, and we've spent many days painting together or creating designs on our computers. Life together is beautiful and comfortable. We can always count on each other through all the stress life throws our way.

The Proposal
July 21, 2022
Our first official date was on a chilly Saturday night in Tuscaloosa, AL. We attended a Riley Green concert following an Alabama football win. Riley played 3 A.M. (my favorite song by Matchbox 20) and I knew I liked Nick more than a friend when he looked at me and said "he's playing your favorite song" and continued to dance and sing awfully loud with me.
We didn't do anything fancy for this boyfriend/girlfriend proposal, I was visiting him in Decatur and while we were watching a movie I looked over to him and said "So are we dating, dating?" and that was that! We spent the rest of the day eating an unhealthy amount of sushi and binge watching Game of Thrones. In my eyes, it couldn't have been more perfect.
On the annual beach trip with the Warsham family, our lives would change forever. As we got ready, I was so confused why I was told to bring white when everyone else was in navy. First clue but ditsy me had no idea. We proceeded to this cute setup of two chairs, an umbrella, and colored sand writing "Marry Me". I got frantic thinking we were ruining someone's proposal, and that's when Nick hit his knee and popped the big one!
